Just six years after Mickey Mouse set out to hunt down a moose in the cartoon short The Moose Hunt, he took along pals Donald and Goofy for another failed attempt in Moose Hunters, released on this day in 1937. With Mickey hiding in a tree, and Donald and Goofy cleverly disguised as a female moose, they manage to anger two male moose who send them fleeing, with Mickey learning once and for all, that a moose is no match for a mouse.
