Attention, Wildcats: a new cast list has just been posted!
With production underway in Salt Lake City for Season 4 of the hit Disney+ Original series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Disney Branded Television announced a few familiar faces are returning to East High! Original High School Musical trilogy stars Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, Bart Johnson, Alyson Reed, and Kaycee Stroh are going back where it all began. Also joining the cast in recurring guest star roles are Kylie Cantrall as social media star Dani, Matthew Sato as sitcom actor Mack, Caitlin Reilly as indie film director Quinn, and Vasthy Mompoint as choreographer Krystal. Season 4 of the series, created and executive produced by Tim Federle, will include songs from the High School Musical franchise and original music.
After an unforgettable summer at Camp Shallow Lake, the Wildcats return to East High in Season 4, where they prepare a stage production of High School Musical 3: Senior Year. But plans are disrupted when Principal Gutierrez (Valente Rodriguez) announces that Disney has decided to make the long-awaited High School Musical 4: The Reunion movie on location at their beloved high school. Bleu, Coleman, Grabeel, Johnson, Reed, and Kaycee Stroh will play themselves, resurrecting their High School Musical roles as Chad Danforth, Taylor McKessie, Ryan Evans, Coach Jack Bolton, Ms. Darbus and Martha Cox, respectively—and the Wildcats will play featured extras in the movie.
The new cast members and High School Musical veterans join series regulars Joshua Bassett as Ricky, Sofia Wylie as Gina, Dara Reneé as Kourtney, Julia Lester as Ashlyn, Frankie Rodriguez as Carlos, Kate Reinders as Miss Jenn, and Liamani Segura as Emmy. High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (Seasons 1-3) are streaming on Disney+.
