On Friday, December 4, D23 Members and their guests had the opportunity to partake in a favorite Disney employee tradition, Light Up the Season, for the very first time. Rooted in the spirit of D23 Days of Christmas, this festive evening celebrated that special Disney time of year with wintertime activities and games, shopping, photo opportunities, and delicious treats. There was truly a magical ambiance on the historic Studio grounds as entire families created lasting holiday memories.
Throughout Light Up the Season, guests enjoyed Christmastime classics inside the beautiful Studio Theatre, took photos with Sorcerer Mickey and a few of his famous friends, and even met some legendary Disney authors! Other favorite moments included enjoying Walt’s Chili from the Buena Vista Café, holiday shopping at the Studios Store, Mickey’s of Glendale pop-up shop and local vendor booths, and lighting the Disney Studios Christmas Tree. Of course, the festivities weren’t complete without a little bit of snowfall and a visit from Santa Claus himself!
