As D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event presented by Visa nears, we’re sure you and your “fan fam” are looking to make the most out of your time while enjoying the festivities of this grandiose gathering. As it just so happens, The Happiest Place on Earth is right down the block from this historic happening… and the one-day celebration, D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort will be returning in 2026*.
Already a beloved destination for Disney fans around the world, it’s the perfect location for the fun to start on Thursday, August 13.
· Beginning at park opening and while supplies last, guests entering Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park with valid park admission may receive a complimentary Mickey Mouse ear hat featuring the D23 Day at Disneyland Resort logo and commemorative guide on August 13.**
· Both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park will welcome ticketed D23 fans from rope drop to late night! Guests can also enjoy a special cavalcade happening at 1:30 p.m. along Main Street U.S.A., at Disneyland. This cavalcade will feature select Disney Legends, who have been recognized for their impact and contributions to the Disney legacy, as well as 23 beloved Disney characters. It’s a must-see for fans of Disney history!
· Enjoy special entertainment offerings such as the chance to encounter Merlin from Walt Disney Animation Studios' "The Sword and the Stone" and Blue Fairy from Disney Animation's "Pinocchio” as they wander through Fantasyland in Disneyland, as well as “Stitch’s Interplanetary Beach Party Bash” from 2 p.m. to 6.pm. and the “Disney+ Hulu Throwbacks Dance Party” from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Tomorrowland Terrace in Disneyland.
· Commemorate D23 Day by posing in front of one of multiple D23 Day icon photo locations, located at Town Square at Disneyland, Pixar Pier in California Adventure and in Downtown Disney. Additional photo locations celebrating Disney’s Fairytale Weddings and Camp Rock 3 will also be available at the Disneyland Hotel.
· Plus, Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party returns for a one-day special event for all park guests, including preschoolers and their families, at Disney California Adventure Park on Thursday, August 13 featuring live entertainment, Disney Jr. characters and fun photo opportunities. Afterward, the Disney Jr. festivities extend from Friday, August 14, through Sunday, August 16, at Downtown Disney District.

· A limited number of guests may have the opportunity to attend a live performance of “Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration,” featuring the voices behind beloved Disney princesses from live-action and animated classics, in California Adventure on August 13. For more details on how to attend this spectacular evening performance can be found on the Disney Parks Blog. Attendance will be limited and may require additional steps. A virtual queue confirmation, wristband and valid admission for Disney California Adventure Park are required to participate in this experience. · All guests with a valid theme park admission and reservation—including D23 Members and D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event attendees—are invited to this resort-wide celebration.
