Welcome to the world-famous D23 Spotlight Series, where D23 Members are invited to cast off on a guided journey tracing Walt Disney’s global travels that inspired the beloved attractions of Adventureland! The Walt Disney Archives staff will serve as your honorary skippers (and possibly lion tamers and dance instructors) on a journey to discover how Walt’s curiosity and love for travel led to the creation of classic attractions such as the Jungle Cruise and Walt Disney’s The Enchanted Tiki Room. Later, Imagineer Kyle Barnes will also join the voyage to reveal how Adventureland inspired the design and creation of Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, the outpost celebrating its 15th anniversary this year! Plus, enjoy an on-stage Trader Sam’s mixology demonstration as well as the opportunity to shop at Mickey’s of Glendale to complete this epic adventure that you won’t take for granite!
Tickets Include:
- A panel from the Walt Disney Archives exploring Walt Disney’s global travels and how they inspired the attractions and offerings of Adventureland, plus a look into how this led to inspire the design of Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar—and a Trader Sam’s on-stage mixology demonstration.
- A limited-release event pin commemorating the 15th anniversary of Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar.
- A custom event credential.
- Opportunity to shop at Mickey’s of Glendale (please select tickets for either a shopping-first or panel-first itinerary).

- 7:30 a.m.: Parking available
- 8 a.m.: Check-in for event begins (Check in will be located near the parking garage; please follow the signs)
- 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m.: Shopping opportunity at Mickey's of Glendale
- Please note: Guests will be queued to enter the store once they are checked in.
- Guests with this ticket must arrive at check-in no later than 9:30 a.m., otherwise shopping at Mickey’s of Glendale is not guaranteed.
- Shopping will close promptly at 10 a.m. PT. Guests with the shopping-first itinerary may only shop during this time and cannot later re-enter Mickey’s of Glendale.
- Starbucks will be available for purchase for guests with the shopping first itinerary ticket at the Walt Disney Imagineering location.
- 10:30 a.m.: Doors open at the Grand Central Air Terminal, where the panel presentation will take place

- After the panel concludes, there will be a shopping opportunity at Mickey’s of Glendale until 2:30 p.m.
- Please note: The entry gate onto the Walt Disney Imagineering campus will not be open or available to queue until after the panel presentation has concluded. Once the entry gate to shopping is open, guests will be queued to shop.
- Shopping will close promptly at 2:30 p.m. PT.
- Starbucks will be available for purchase for guests with the panel first itinerary ticket at the Walt Disney Imagineering location.

Ticketing Terms and Conditions:
- D23 Gold and General Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and up to one (1) guest for this event.
- Each attendee, including the D23 Member and their guest, must possess a valid, individual event ticket to be admitted.
- Ticket quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- To reserve tickets, D23 Members must log in using their valid D23 Member account credentials and assign a legal first and last name for each guest’s ticket.
- Tickets are non-transferable and must be used by the individual(s) named at the time of purchase. D23 Members and each of their guests over the age of 18 may be required to show a valid government-issued ID matching the name on their ticket.
Age Requirements:
- All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must also possess a valid event ticket.
- Children under the age of 3 may attend without a ticket but must be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian with a valid event ticket.
- Children under the age of 3 may attend without a ticket but must lap-sit due to limited capacity and be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian with a valid event ticket. Only children with a valid event ticket will receive event gifts, giveaways, and concession vouchers.
- Guests who are age 21+ are required to present valid government-issued photo IDs to consume alcoholic beverages.
Entry Requirements:
- All D23 Members must present a valid D23 Membership card (physical or digital via the D23 App) along with a valid event ticket at check-in.
- D23 Members and each of their guests over the age of 18 may be required to show a valid government-issued ID matching the name on their ticket.
- Failure to present a valid membership card, a corresponding ticket, and a valid government-issued ID matching the name on their ticket may result in denial of admission without refund or further obligation by D23.
Event Conduct and Restrictions:
- Unauthorized video or audio recording of any kind during the presentation and/or screening is strictly prohibited.
- D23 reserves the right to deny admission or remove any individual who fails to comply with event rules, disrupts the event, or violates the terms and conditions of participation.
- To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all D23 Members and guests attending this D23 event are expected to adhere to the stated Disney rules (as applicable, and, including without limitation, with respect to Guest Courtesy Policies) found here.
Any ticketed Members or their guests who do not personally attend the event, forfeit their place, as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event. D23 Members must be present or guests will not gain admittance to the event.
All D23 events are subject to change without notice. All ticket sales are final. There are strictly no cancellations or refunds regardless of reason (including, without limitation, due to illness, change in travel plans, etc.) and tickets are not transferable.
