Bearded duck J.J. (as in Jonah Jinks) Fate narrates this Donald Duck short that proves when it comes to our favorite feathery fowl, home is where the hurt is. This home-wrecking short instructs viewers that climbing a cluttered stairway, standing on a rocking chair, even lighting a pipe in a gas-filled room are actually rather—surprise, surprise—dangerous home activities (and, thanks to Donald, hilarious as well!). The short was directed by Charles Nichols, who returned to the theme three years later with How to Have an Accident at Work, also starring Donald and J.J.. Bill Thompson, who voiced J.J. in both shorts, enjoyed a long and distinguished career at the Disney studio, voicing such characters as the White Rabbit and Dodo in Alice in Wonderland, Mr. Smee in Peter Pan, Jo, Bull, Dachsie, and Jock in Lady and the Tramp, and King Hubert in Sleeping Beauty.
