Lighter than air, Donald Duck glides along the icy surface of a winter pond on a pair of ice skates. Suddenly, his regal performance of “duck lake” is put to a halt when his pesky nephews show up to play hockey. Donald pulls out a trophy that he happens to have on hand. It reads: “Hockey Champion of Duck Swamp.” Sneeringly, he challenges the boys to a game of hockey—Donald versus all. First impressed at their uncle’s skating abilities, Huey Dewey, and Louie play along. But when Donald throws in a few moves that cover his nephews in snow they pull out a few tricks of their own. A few mishaps later, poor Donald ends the short tangled in the hockey goal’s net and his nephews have the last laugh.
