It’s The Muppet Show! Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the beloved Muppets ensemble are back with a brand-new special event. Music, comedy, and a whole lot of chaos are bound to ensue when The Muppets once again take the stage of the original Muppet Theatre with their very special guest, Sabrina Carpenter! The Muppet Show makes its triumphant return on Disney+ and ABC this February—and D23 Gold Members can watch it in advance on D23 Gold Theater.
From 20th Television, Disney Branded Television, The Muppets Studio, and Point Grey Pictures, the special event is directed by Alex Timbers, who also serves as executive producer. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, and Alex McAtee are executive producers for Point Grey Pictures; David Lightbody, Leigh Slaughter, and Michael Steinbach are executive producers for The Muppets Studio; Sabrina Carpenter, Albertina Rizzo, Matt Vogel and Eric Jacobson are executive producers.
The original series The Muppet Show, created by Disney Legend Jim Henson, ran from 1976 through 1981; aired in over 100 countries; and featured a cavalcade of notable guest stars. In 2026, that original series celebrates its incredible 50th anniversary! All five seasons of The Muppet Show are currently available to stream on Disney+.
We invite you to join us for this special advance screening in the D23 Gold Theater virtual event series, which will be available to watch HERE as it airs on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET.

- The event will begin at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET. This airing will include a chat where viewers can discuss the special event as it airs.

- We recommend joining the virtual screening using Google Chrome on a laptop or desktop computer, smartphone or tablet with a reliable internet connection of at least 10 mb/s. If you are experiencing an unstable internet connection or connection at a speed lower than 10 mb/s, you may need to connect an ethernet cable to hardline your connection or connect via data/hotspot.
- Supported browsers for PC users are Google Chrome, Firefox, and Opera on Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, and Amazon Silk are not supported as they are NOT compatible with content security and Digital Rights Management for this exclusive screening.
- Supported browsers for Apple users are Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera on Mac OSX 10.12 or higher. If you’re using an iPad/iPad Pro/iPhone, use Safari as your browser.

- D23 Gold Members must have internet access to experience this event. You will be responsible for such services and paying any associated charges related to the services. Please check with your internet provider and/or wireless service carrier for information on possible data usage charges or other fees. We are not responsible if you are unable to participate in the virtual event for any reason.
- You agree that no other person who is not a D23 Gold Member will participate in, or be present during, the virtual event on February 3.
- By participating in the virtual event, you acknowledge and agree that other individuals may also be participating in the virtual event with you. Such participants will be able to see any statements you make and information you provide in the virtual event chat and see your first name on the screen. You understand that you should not disclose any information during the virtual event that you do not want to be shared with other participants.
- Video or audio recording of any kind will not be permitted during the presentation and screening. By participating in the virtual event, you agree you will not record, take screen captures, or otherwise copy, reproduce, or display the virtual event or any portion thereof.
- By participating in the virtual event, you acknowledge and agree that we will not be liable for the conduct of the other individuals participating in the virtual event, including, without limitation, any content transmitted or displayed by such individuals.
