It’s that time of year! After a flurry of fun at our holiday event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, D23 brought the holiday magic to the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, California, for one of our favorite holiday traditions: D23’s Light Up the Season!
D23 Gold and Gold Family Members took to the historic Studio lot for a night filled with holiday happenings only Disney can muster––including special games, holiday treats, and quite a few VIP guests, including Santa Claus himself. Guests were also invited to bring items for Toys for Tots, and take a stroll down Minnie Avenue––which hosted local vendors––or head into the Studio Store to take care of some holiday shopping (and maybe find something special for themselves, too!).
As the sun set over Mickey Avenue, Santa Claus took to the stage with Head of D23 Michael Vargo to light the Studio Christmas tree. And, despite weather reports (and our Southern California location), a flurry of snow fell upon the Studio lot! Every guest went home with a one-of-a-kind Light Up the Season ornament to place on their tree.
