In 1951’s Plutopia, Mickey and Pluto take a trip to Camp Utopia, The Sportsman’s Paradise. After Pluto encounters a pesky cat, he dreams he visits Plutopia, a kind of wonderland where his nemesis cat now waits on him hand and paw. This was the last year original Pluto cartoons were made. The old dog starred in a total of 48 of his own cartoons, with this being the 47th. While Pluto no longer starred in his own film shorts, he continued to appear in movies and television shows, winning the hearts of the world over — no bones about it.
