Disney100: The Exhibition Opens in Paris April 10

The magic continues: After captivating fans in Philadelphia, Munich, London, Chicago, Kansas City, and Seoul, Disney100: The Exhibition—the largest exhibition the Walt Disney Archives has ever created—is making its way to Paris, France. Look for it to open at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles on April 10, 2025.

D23 Members will be the first public audience to get to say “Bonjour!” to this exhibition at its latest international tour stop. Click here for details.

The exhibition, which celebrates a century of stories, characters, music, and experiences created by The Walt Disney Company, will provide audiences yet another opportunity to explore an extensive array of artifacts from the Walt Disney Archives... alongside many of the “Crown Jewels” from renowned classics—ranging from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) to contemporary favorites such as Encanto (2021)—as well as the latest members of the Disney family—Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel. It’s truly an event the whole family can enjoy!

For nearly 55 years, the Walt Disney Archives has meticulously preserved some of The Walt Disney Company’s most treasured artifacts. In Paris, more than 250 items will be on display—including works of art and animation maquettes, as well costumes and props. This includes the Carousel Horse from 1964’s Mary Poppins, used by Disney Legend Julie Andrews, as well as Cruella’s red dress from 2021’s Cruella, worn by Emma Stone.

A Nostalgic Journey
Ready for adventure? Visitors to Disney100: The Exhibition will find all manner of imaginatively themed galleries, interactive exhibits, and immersive installations. For instance, iconic objects and props such as the original prop storybook from Sleeping Beauty (1959), Iron Man’s mask from Iron Man (2008), Cinderella’s glass slipper from the live-action Cinderella (2015), and even Indiana Jones’ iconic ensemble from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023) will be on magical display—providing a glimpse into Disney's boundless creativity.

In the galleries, fans will be able to take a nostalgic stroll down Main Street, U.S.A., and photo opportunities will allow for posing alongside favorite characters—including Mickey Mouse (of course!), the Parr family from Disney and Pixar’s The Incredibles (2004), Mickey’s pal Goofy, and even lovable Dopey from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. A variety of games and other interactive activities will complete the experience.

The Walt Disney Company Earns 15 Academy Award® Nominations

The Walt Disney Company proudly announces 15 nominations for the 97th Academy Awards® across The Walt Disney Studios (including from 20th Century Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Searchlight Pictures, and Walt Disney Studios), content brands (Disney Branded Television and National Geographic Documentary Films), and platforms (Disney+ and Hulu).

The Oscars® will air live on ABC and for the first time stream live on Hulu on Sunday, March 2, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, with the official live red-carpet show airing at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT. The ceremony will stream on Disney+ internationally and air on broadcast outlets globally.

Searchlight Pictures received 10 nominations, with eight for A Complete Unknown, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress. The studio also earned two nods for A Real Pain, for Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor. Searchlight Pictures has now amassed 23 Best Picture Academy Award nominations and a grand total of 205 Academy Award nominations.

Inside Out 2, the highest-grossing film of 2024 from Pixar Animation Studios, was nominated for Best Animated Feature. 20th Century Studios received two nods for Best Visual Effects across Alien: Romulus and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

National Geographic Documentary Films captured its fifth nomination in seven years in the Documentary Feature category for Sugarcane.  Disney Branded Television received its second nomination in two years with “Never Too Late” from Elton John: Never Too Late up for Best Original Song.

Disney’s streaming platforms are home to seven nominations, with Best Animated Feature nominee Inside Out 2 now streaming on Disney+ and A Real Pain on Hulu receiving nods for Best Supporting Actor and Best Original Screenplay.
