Get ready to take a (metaphorical) stroll down Main Street, U.S.A., and memory lane with the newest installment of the D23 Spotlight Series, featuring Walt Disney Archives Director Becky Cline and Disney artist and historian Stacia Martin!

D23 Gold Members are invited to celebrate 70 years of Disneyland with a special presentation that shines a light on the park’s early years in the 1950s and 1960s. Join us at the historic Grand Central Air Terminal in Glendale, California, where favorite memories and fun facts will showcase Walt Disney’s original Magic Kingdom through a new lens. This in-depth program—featuring rarely seen media from Disneyland’s first decades, from fondly remembered attractions and characters, to entertainment and souvenirs—is something D23 fans won’t want to miss!

This event also includes 30 minutes of shopping at The Walt Disney Company Store, a must-visit retail stop featuring The Walt Disney Company Summer Collection perfect for your next adventure! D23 is teaming up with partners across The Walt Disney Company, including the Walt Disney Archives and Walt Disney Imagineering in 2025, for the new D23 Spotlight Series. These in-person events will take fans deeper into unique topics, such as a celebration of the Walt Disney Archives’ 55th anniversary, a look into Indiana Jones attractions at Disney Parks both past, present, and future, along with more topics throughout the year!

NOTES

Ticketing Terms and Conditions:

  • D23 Gold Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and up to one (1) guest for this event.
  • Each attendee, including the D23 Member and their guest(s), must possess a valid, individual event ticket to be admitted.
  • Ticket quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • To reserve tickets, D23 Members must log in using their valid D23 Member account credentials.
    • Tickets are non-transferable and must be used by the individual(s) named at the time of purchase.
  • All guests attending must be ages eight (8) and up. All guests under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must also possess a valid event ticket.

Entry Requirements:

  • All D23 Members must present a valid D23 Membership card (physical or digital via the D23 App) along with a valid event ticket at check-in.
  • Failure to present a valid membership card and corresponding ticket may result in denial of admission without refund or further obligation by D23.
  • All attendees over the age of eighteen (18) will be required to show a valid government issued ID at registration. The names of the IDs MUST match the names on each event ticket.
  • Each attendee must have a ticket in their possession for entry, and every ticket must match the name submitted at the time of purchase to the attendee’s valid government-issued ID.
  • Entrance to the campus will not be permitted if the names do not match.
  • Only confirmed ticketed attendees will be able to enter Disney’s Grand Central Creative Campus.
  • Due to limited parking capacity, only one car per Member reservation will be permitted to park on premises; all D23 Members and their preregistered guests must arrive together in one vehicle.

Event Conduct and Restrictions:

  • Unauthorized video or audio recording of any kind during the presentation is strictly prohibited.
  • D23 reserves the right to deny admission or remove any individual who fails to comply with event rules, disrupts the event, or violates the terms and conditions of participation.
  • To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all D23 Members and guests attending this D23 event are expected to adhere to the stated Disney rules (as applicable, and, including without limitation, with respect to Guest Courtesy Policies) found here.

Event Notes:

  • The event will take place rain or shine. Please dress accordingly for outdoor portions of the event.

Any ticketed Members or their guests who do not personally attend the event, forfeit their place, as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event. D23 Members must be present or guests will not gain admittance to the event.

All D23 events are subject to change without notice. All ticket sales are final. There are strictly no cancellations or refunds regardless of reason (including, without limitation, due to illness, change in travel plans, etc.) and tickets are not transferable.
