D23 Gold Members that are Disney+ subscribers are invited to join us for the first Gold Theater Interactive Watch Party, featuring the 2003 hit film Freaky Friday!
In celebration of the release of Freakier Friday in theaters only on August 8, this D23 Gold Theater will feature our first Interactive Watch Party with Freaky Friday on August 1. This Gold Theater Interactive Experience will bring fans even closer to the fun with a live chat featuring surprise guests that were part of Freaky Friday; trivia questions (with some surprises!), and a few sneak peeks at Freakier Friday.
We invite you to join us for this special installment of D23 Gold Theater, our new monthly virtual event series; it’ll be available to watch HERE as it airs on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET. The Freaky Friday Gold Theater Interactive Watch Party will only be available to watch during the listed event time—so be sure to tune in and enjoy the show!

- This is a complimentary virtual event exclusive to D23 Gold Members that have a Disney+ subscription.
- D23 Gold Members must have internet access and a Disney+ subscription to enjoy this event.
- The event will begin at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET.
- You may log in starting at 5:45 p.m. PT / 8:45 p.m. ET for a pre-show experience.
- This airing will include a chat where you can join in the conversation with fellow D23 Gold Members and people that were involved with the film Freaky Friday!
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS & SUPPORTED DEVICES
- We recommend joining the virtual screening using Google Chrome on a laptop or desktop computer, smartphone, or tablet with a reliable internet connection of at least 10 mb/s. If you’re experiencing an unstable internet connection or connection at a speed lower than 10 mb/s, you may need to connect an ethernet cable to hardline your connection or connect via data/hotspot.
- Supported browsers for PC users are Google Chrome, Firefox, and Opera on Windows 7, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10. Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, and Amazon Silk are not supported as they are not compatible with content security and Digital Rights Management for this exclusive screening.
- Supported browsers for Apple users are Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera on Mac OSX 10.12 or higher. If you’re using an iPad/iPad Pro/iPhone, use Safari as your browser.
- Please use the latest version of your browser, whichever one you choose. This may necessitate an update. We cannot guarantee that previous versions of browsers will support the experience.
- For enhanced viewing, you may cast to a TV using AirPlay or by connecting an HDCP-compliant HDMI cable to your TV. Please note: As this is a web-based experience, it is not designed to work directly on your TV set via smart TV web browsers.
TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
- D23 Gold Members must have a subscription to Disney+ and internet access to experience this event. You will be responsible for such services and paying any associated charges related to said services. Please check with your internet provider and/or wireless service carrier for information on possible data usage charges or other fees. We are not responsible if you are unable to participate in the virtual event for any reason.
- You agree that no other person who is not a D23 Gold Member will participate in, or be present during, the virtual event.
- By participating in the virtual event, you acknowledge and agree that other individuals may also be participating in the virtual event with you. Such participants will be able to see any statements you make and information you provide in the virtual event chat and see your first name on the screen. You understand that you should not disclose any information during the virtual event that you do not want to be shared with other participants.
- Video or audio recording of any kind will not be permitted during the presentation and screening. By participating in the virtual event, you agree you will not record, take screen captures or otherwise copy, reproduce or display the virtual event or any portion thereof.
- By participating in the virtual event, you acknowledge and agree that we will not be liable for the conduct of the other individuals participating in the virtual event, including, without limitation, any content transmitted or displayed by such individuals.
- We reserve the right to revoke access for any reason and without warning.
- Please note the event will only be available to watch during the listed event times and will not be available to stream on demand later.
All D23 events are subject to change without notice. Access for D23 Gold Members to the virtual event is not transferable.
