EVENT OVERVIEW
Hollywood. 2024. Amidst the glitz and the glitter of a bustling Tinseltown at the height of Halloween season, D23: The Official Disney Fan Club invites you to be a celebrity in your own right. We invite you, if you dare, to join us for the ultimate Disney Halloween costume party—because at this event, you are the star!
D23 Tune-in To Terror: A Hollywood Halloween Event—Presented by Disney+ invites you to enter a place where your favorite Halloween stories from the wicked worlds of Disney come to life. These supernatural spaces come complete with terrorizingly terrific tunes, electrifying entertainment, sweet treats, monstrous morsels, photo opportunities, and more!
With “chilling channels” lurking around every corner, inspired by the iconic stories that always leave us with a skeleton grin, we promise you’re going to want to explore all three floors of frights…
- “The Tip Top Club”: Since you’re “dropping in,” what better place to disappear into the night than the one and only Hollywood Tower Hotel? Become a star in one of the real-life Hollywood hotels that provided inspiration for the iconic attraction, forever stuck in time at that fateful Halloween party on October 31, 1939. Drink in the striking grandeur and luxury of the lobby and take in some live jazz while you chat with fellow hotel guests. Apologies if some of them appear to be rather… ghastly in appearance.
- “The Witches’ Road Lounge”: Stay for a spell at this delectably devious dominion, taking point from witty witch Agatha Harkness and her eclectic coven—making their play to hex Disney+ in Marvel Television’s Agatha All Along this Halloween season. Do you dare to enter this spellbound lounge space inspired by the wilds of the Witches’ Road? Set your experience to a gas of a soundtrack, as a DJ whisks you into the insidious and perfidious sides of magic.
- “The Black Flame Ballroom”: Dive into the dance hall that all of Salem is absolutely dying to get into! Dance the night away with a live band playing Halloween favorites—inspired by the iconic Halloween happenings from Hocus Pocus and Hocus Pocus 2; snap photos at some bewitching spots; and stay for a spell! Since this is the spookiest soiree in town, you never know who could crash this shindig!
- “The Skeleton Dance Party”: Those who dare to enter the historic Academy Room on our second floor will find the ultimate celebration of the debut Silly Symphony short, The Skeleton Dance! Join this cemetery soiree to dance the night away with the ghoulish grooves of a DJ. This black-and-white bash will be a true dance macabre!
- “The Happiest Haunt”: When summoning the ghostliest residents of Disney’s regions beyond, we’re calling in the spirits… wherever they dwell! Featuring a macabre Seance Room photo opportunity, we invite your boo crew to snag a seat to enjoy some spectral snacks and even find the time to trade a few ghost stories with one another.
- “The Rerun Room”: Hidden behind a mysterious bookcase, you’ll find the ultimate classic Hollywood screening room. Take a break in this marvelous lounge and flip through the channels with us as we relive some favorite episodic escapades on a larger-than-life television set!
Costumes: As the star of this show, be sure you dress the part! A Hollywood Halloween would not be complete without a few costumes sure to make the viewers shriek with envy. We hope you take this as your opportunity to make jaws (and service elevators) DROP with your applause-worthy style!
