Sit down for an intimate lunch with Disney Legend Jim Cora inside the private Buena Vista Room at The Walt Disney Studios.
Jim Cora began his legendary Disney career as a Disneyland attraction host in 1957, quickly moving up the ranks of operations, being part of the opening team of Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room in 1963. By 1971, Jim was part of the opening of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, implementing innovative new leadership programs, and pioneering many operational concepts for Disney’s parks which are still in place to this day. By 1979, Jim assumed the responsibilities of managing director of Operations for Tokyo Disneyland, Disney’s first international theme park. Jim would go on to oversee all of Disney’s international park openings during his tenure, including Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris and Tokyo DisneySea. Upon his retirement in 2001, as Chairman, Disneyland International, Jim had spent 43 years with Disney. He was named a Disney Legend in 2005.
On Friday, August 10, D23 Gold and Gold Family Members will be treated to an intimate, globally-inspired three-course luncheon with Jim at The Walt Disney Studios inside the private Buena Vista Room. During this exclusive event, D23 Members will have the chance to talk with Jim about his incredible career, spanning the earliest days of Disneyland to making some of Disney’s greatest international theme parks a reality!
This one-of-a-kind experience will also include an exclusive gift created just for you, as well as time to shop at the Disney Studio Store!
Experience begins at 12 p.m. PT and will last approximately two hours.
Check-in will begin at 11:45 a.m. in front of the Hyperion Room at The Walt Disney Studios.
- D23 Gold and Gold Family Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and one (1) guest.
- There is a very limited number of tickets available. D23 Members will be required to provide their membership number when reserving tickets. D23 Members who do not bring their membership card and tickets may not be admitted to the event.
- Ticketed Members who do not attend the event forfeit their place as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event. D23 Members must be present or guests will not gain admittance to event.
- All D23 Events are subject to change without notice. There are strictly no cancellations or refunds, and tickets are not transferable.
