As we anticipate the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales on May 26, D23 Gold and Gold Family Members are invited to celebrate some of Disney’s most notorious rascals, scoundrels, villains, and knaves at The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank!
First, set sail for an adventure through the making of Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure! Join Luc Mayrand, creative executive for Shanghai Disney Resort and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney Imagineering, as he shares a behind-the-scenes look at the fascinating creation of this groundbreaking, award-winning attraction at Shanghai Disneyland that features Captain Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones.
Members will then embark on an inside look at the upcoming, all-new Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales with an honorary guest working on the film. The rip-roaring adventure finds down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) feeling the winds of ill-fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea—notably Jack.
Then, sit back and enjoy the adventures of Captain Jack, Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley), Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), and Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) that began in theaters almost 15 years ago during a screening Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl inside the historic Studio Theatre!
This one-of-a-kind event will also include an exclusive gift created just for you, as well as time to shop at the Disney Studio Store.
