D23’s Behind-the-Scenes Experience series continues in the “Big Apple” as Gold and Gold Family Members are invited to join us for a day of lights, magic, and access. The fun-filled event will kick off with a taping of the fan-foodie favorite, The Chew. Attendees then will be transported to the site of the 1964–65 New York World’s Fair for time to explore and learn more about this historic location. In addition, this one-of-a-kind experience will also feature a hosted lunch and an exclusive discount at the Disney Store in Times Square. Plus, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Disney’s restoration and reopening of the New Amsterdam Theatre, attendees will enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the historic venue off 42nd Street in New York City, concluding with a cocktail reception inside the theater.
Guests can upgrade to a Premium Ticket that includes Orchestra-level seating for Aladdin at the New Amsterdam Theatre, followed by a D23-exclusive cast meet and greet after the show!
Experience begins promptly at 8 a.m. Check-in will begin at 7:45 a.m. There will be a break in Times Square from 2–4 p.m. for attendees to shop and explore on their own.
Premium Ticket attendees will have Orchestra-level tickets for the 7 p.m. performance of Aladdin on Wednesday, April 26, 2017.

The Official Disney Fan Club is thrilled to continue D23’s Behind-the-Scenes Experience series with a magical day in the Big Apple. The day will begin near Columbus Circle with D23 Members attending a taping of the fan-foodie favorite and Daytime Emmy®-winning show The Chew.
Following the taping, D23 attendees will board a bus and enjoy a NYC snack pack while being transported to Flushing Meadows—the site of the historic 1964–65 New York World’s Fair! While there, attendees will have the chance to take photos and learn more about this pivotal point in Disney history.
On the way to Midtown and Times Square, the group will enjoy a hosted lunch. Attendees will then have two hours of free time to explore this part of the city, and spend some shopping time at Disney Store with an exclusive additional discount!
The magical day concludes just a few streets down at the New Amsterdam Theatre where D23 Members will have the chance to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the historic venue’s restoration with a backstage tour, followed by a cocktail reception including beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres.
This one-of-a-kind event will also include an exclusive gift created just for you, plus plenty of opportunities to capture photographs and memories that will last a lifetime!
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE: Attendees have the opportunity to purchase a Premium Ticket that includes Orchestra-level seating for the 7:00 p.m. performance of Aladdin, followed by a D23-exclusive cast meet and greet opportunity! Please note: Guests who do not purchase the Premium Ticket will not be able to attend the April 26 performance and cast meet and greet of Aladdin.
Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and one (1) guest. Guests must be 21 years of age or older, ID will be checked. D23 Members will be required to provide their membership number when reserving tickets. Tickets may be picked up only with a valid photo ID AND D23 MEMBERSHIP CARD. D23 Members who do not bring their membership card may not be admitted to the event. Ticketed members who do not attend the event forfeit their place as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event.
