Things are about to get paw-some! Join us for a paws-itively purr-fect experience at D23’s Opening Night: Disney Cats & Dogs at The Walt Disney Family Museum. Celebrate your favorite four-legged and furry Disney friends at this one-of-a-kind experience on Friday, June 23, 2023.
Disney Cats & Dogs is a traveling exhibition that originated from the Walt Disney Animation Research Library, Walt Disney Archives, and Disney Japan in honor of Disney’s milestone 100th anniversary, This is the first time that this captivating exhibition will be shown in the United States! And our D23 Members get to experience it first on opening night!
This exhibition is designed to have us give a round of ap-paws for our favorite Disney pets, as we learn more about their evolution and design. Some of the many characters featured in this exhibition include Pluto, Lady and Tramp, Pongo and Perdita, the Cheshire Cat, Duchess, and Lucifer! Guests will get to experience in-gallery animation, drawing, and craft activities.
In addition to getting to be among the first to explore this fur-tastic exhibition, there will also be fun extras, including a special presentation celebrating the exhibition and a reception with food and drink so members can mingle with fellow Disney pet lovers!
This family-friendly event lasts for two hours and members can choose from three timed entries throughout the day— starting at 4:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., or 8:00 p.m.. Each occurrence is identical, and these timed entries are sold and ticketed separately.

- This event will take place at The Walt Disney Family Museum located at 104 Montgomery Street, San Francisco, CA 94129
- Members will only be allowed into the timed entry for which they have purchased tickets. There are three timed entries as follows:
- 4:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
- 6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
- 8:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
NOTES
- D23 Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and up to five guests.
- Each attendee must have a ticket in their possession for entry.
- There are a limited number of tickets available. D23 Members must log in by using their D23.com Member account information when reserving tickets.
- D23 Members who do not bring their membership card and tickets may not be admitted to the event. Membership card may be a physical card or a digital membership card found in the D23 app.
- Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a guest 18 years of age or older to attend this D23 event.
- Ticketed members and guests who do not attend the event forfeit their place, as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event. D23 Members must be present or guests will not gain admittance to the event.
All D23 events are subject to change without notice. All ticket sales are final. There are strictly no cancellations or refunds regardless of reason (including, without limitation, due to illness, change in travel plans, etc.) and tickets are not transferable.
